The Age of Kings

The Age of Kings, World of Legends environment, features several minor and major changes. The variations from the previous age (Age of Reason) are listed below. In addition, many minor changes have been made to formulae and other internal rules governing the game.

Changes to Buildings

Armouries: 1.5% cost decrease; 1.5% wage decrease

Barracks: 1% attack time drop

Training Grounds: 1.5% increase in offense

Forts: 1% increase in defense

Guard Stations (replaced Taverns): Decrease resource losses by 2%

Schools: Produce 3 Science Points per Day (from libraries)

Libraries: Reduce Science Costs by 1.5%; Protect 3% of Science Books

Changes to Spells

Quickfeet: 10% lower attack time

Changes to Relations and Stances

No attack time bonus from Aggressive

25% lower combat losses from Aggressive

No attack time bonus for Hostile

15% attack time bonus for War

Changes to Attack Types

Learn Attack more powerful

Raze base time same as Traditional March

Option to increase attack times by 1-4 hours for 4% increased gains each

Fewer specialist credits in attacks

Changes to War

Removed War Meter

Withdraw option available at any time with 3% Honor Loss

Withdraw only requires 2 hours of no attacks

No Surrender Option

Razed acres will be moved to the kingdom exploration pool

Lowered combat loss bonus to 25%

Changes to Races and Personalities

Across the board race changes as shown in the guide

Miscellaneous Changes

No Variable Draft during protection

Speed build only 50% as effective during protection

Lowered explore costs

3 prisoners fill one job
